About

Dipsea Flower is a folk-rock band from Northern California, blending vintage West Coast vibes with a modern Folk energy. The group formed in 2023 while studying at Berklee College of Music, and quickly made waves with their debut single, “Hummingbird” (Nov. ’23). The group released their summery debut EP, titled “Sundance” in May, 2025.

Drawing inspiration from the rich vocal harmonies of 60's and 70's West Coast groups like The Beach Boys and The Eagles, as well as the raw edge of modern acts like Mt. Joy and Houndmouth, Dipsea Flower brings a unique twang to the folk-rock world. Mitch Mosk of Atwood Magazine described their sound as “a fresh breath of warm light, and a sweet, smile-inducing sound,” calling them “a definitive artist-to-watch.” He added, “Fans of Mt. Joy, John Vincent III, and flipturn are sure to fall hard and fast for Dipsea Flower’s Golden State magic.”
